Today we headed way up north for something different — beach diving and snorkeling instead of our usual boat tour.
Gorilla Chop -yep, you read it right, Gorilla..! The point is named for a massive rock that looks exactly like a gorilla raising its arm, ready to chop the water. 🦍
We spent a while trying to catch the perfect shot of the “gorilla” from every angle. Can you see it? 📸👀
Next, we changed course toward the famous sardine grounds. Why are they famous? Because of the incredible massive school of fish. Imagine thousands of sardines moving together as one, completely surrounding you… 🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠
We followed them for almost an hour, mesmerized by their synchronized motion. You could almost hear a silent melody and feel the rhythm of their elegant dance beneath the surface. It was hypnotic. 🎶🐠💫
Once we put our head upto surface, this time a heron was waiting — calm, curious, and a lovely surprise to end the day. 🪶🪶👀
Of course, we couldn’t resist taking a few more shots before ending our trip. ✨📷✨
