Its been a long day, the first day of the season doing morning and afternoon trips out on the boat. The day passes faster than usual without time to stop and relax with guests and other staff. Its busy for sure, but I can’t complain. The best part of having two groups in a day is the opportunity to meet more people, and I have to say I feel super lucky to have met the guests that I did today. The stoke you all brought today was awesome!

In the morning we went to Chiibishi, in between Okinawa and Kerama. It was a little windy and grey, but lots of you guys stayed in the water the entire time snorkeling. Way to go! There were a bunch of little fish that got pretty close to us, and we were able to see a variety of coral too.

In the afternoon we went north up the coast to Sunabe, a famous point just off the coast with underwater veggie gardens coexisting with man made formations. Our intimate group consisted of people from all different places, but thanks to English and loads of hype for diving we all got along in no time… which is one of the great things about diving! You meet many people from as many different places and can bond over a common interest.

Back to the story, I am happy to say that for the first time I was able to introduce two lovely people at the same time to the wonderful aquatic world that is scuba (with the help of my co-workers and another friend). I hope you all remember this moment for a long time to come!

I just want to leave you guys with a big thanks from me. Your guy’s positive vibes make our job worthwhile. Keep adventuring and I hope to see you all again!

Nolan
