As you can all guess from the picture, the first episode is going to be about the Manta Ray!! 🥰
To be more specific… Reef Manta Ray or Mobula alfredi! 🖤🤍
We saw a beautiful Manta Ray on our way to the Kerama Islands! It was a total of 2 minutes of encounter! And it was my first time seeing a Manta! So I was enjoying the moment with slightly teary eyes inside my mask while taking these pictures 🥲🤿

- Mantas are cartilaginous fish, just like their close relative, sharks. 🦈
- Mantas go to dive deep waters at night. 🌃
- Mantas are filter feeders, which means they suck everything in by using their cephalic fins, then filter plankton to eat and throw the unnecessary water away from the gills.
- Mantas are Ovoviviparous, which means the eggs hatch inside the mum’s tummy and the strongest baby eats the sibling eggs and is born alive. 👶
