Hi everyone, Doa here. 👋😁
Today (well, technically yesterday) was September 25th – Still summer in Okinawa! ☀️🐟

While divers on mainland Japan are likely zipping into drysuits by now, here in Okinawa, we’re still enjoying the warm waters in our 3mm wetsuits! 😎🌴

Here are some fun highlights from today’s underwater adventure:
📸 Gorgeous table corals — vibrant and full of life.

👶 Baby fish alert! It’s the tail end of the tropical fish breeding season, so this might be your last chance this year to spot tiny juveniles hiding beneath the coral tables.

🐟 Yellowfin goatfishand their neat little “beards”! These chin barbels are packed with chemosensory powers, helping them to detect and locate tasty treats like worms, crustaceans, and mollusks buried in the sand.

🐢 One sleepy turtle… and one hungry one!

🎨 Anemonefish showing off their bold colors.

🧘♀️ Underwater yoga — because why not? The ocean is Zen.

❤️🎸 And finally, a bit of love and rock ‘n’ roll — always a good recipe for life.

If you’re thinking about diving in light clothing, don’t wait too long — the seasons are shifting! It might be the last month to enjoy the last of the tropical fish nursery vibes and warm water magic. 🌊✨
Thank you for reading! See you in another monologue! 🤗
