Another lucky day for everyone! Today was one of those unforgettable days where everything just clicks. The ocean greeted us with her best — and yes, it happened again… another manta ray encounter on the west side of Kuro Island! It’s hard to describe the energy that rushes through the group when a manta appears. 😍
But the manta was just the beginning.
As we continued exploring the reef, we were treated to a collection of charming and downright hilarious moments.
One of our guests had what might be the gentlest interaction we’ve seen yet — a heartfelt almost-hug with a fish! It lingered just long enough for a photo that’s sure to make it into the trip album. 🫂
Then came the fake-hand-holding turtle encounter. It seems like they are holding hands like two old friends. 🧑🤝🧑
And finally, the moment that had everyone laughing during our debrief: the unusual high-five of the day. It wasn’t between people — one side was the ocean itself! Perfect timing, perfect angle — and possibly the most unexpected high-five of the season. 🫸🫷
Days like these are why we do what we do. The ocean has a way of surprising us, humbling us, and filling us with joy in ways we never expect. Whether it’s a massive manta gliding silently overhead or a spontaneous underwater connection with the reef’s many characters, every dive reminds us how alive and magical this place truly is.
